This was a project I will never do again, but glad I did it. A lot of frustration, heartbreak and some satisfaction. I could write a book on this car.

Feel the same way....main frustration was due to many yrs in 2 different paint jails, still never got finished with just avg paint. All those yrs coulda been driving.
Make sure and drive it a lot youll feel less frustrated believe me. Nothing like driving a "new" old car, especially when you dont see them on the road at all.
Anyone can buy a new one..
I'm a little late but here is my 76 original paint stripe was put on by the dealership in 1976 I bought it last August put new carpet a lot of TLC..new tires motor trim more TLC...still a work in progress...I love my c3...
Just picked mine up last Friday, loving it so far. Number matching 454 4-speed, mostly original except the mirrors, have chrome ones on order. Came with tank sticker and Bloomington Gold Survivor awards from the early 90's.
