Default GM Part Number Please

I need the GM part number for a 1973 Small Block heater core with A/C. Anyone have the parts manual handy?

Thanks for your help.

3015145 is the old part number but it's been replace by GM's imported version of the heater core!

P/N 3015145 was replaced in August of 1999 with new number 52484060, this number shows being no longer available too! I'm not positive about this I'll have to check.

I have seen post in forums where people reported problems with the connection of the tubes to the core.

Mike, if you buy a new heater core, take it to a radiator shop and have the tubes re-soldered and the core pressure-checked. Learned this the hard way when the interior of my 68 started filling up with anti-freeze after installing the heater
Good thing the carpet wasn't in yet

This is what GM sold me for my 1974 in 2008. It works fine but is double the price of the imported versions.

Yes my 1974 has A/C. I did that job in 2008 and do not wish to do it again. I figured that AC Delco/Made in USA would assure some quality for the core. I was rather shy about those $30.00 Chinese units on EBay and I was willing to pay the Delco price. I may be proved wrong on my approach but so far so good.

If I remember the GM unit was about $80.00. But what price is your labor worth if the cheap imported unit fails prematurely?

I'm thinking the same thing. I ordered a GM unit but will still take it for pressure testing as Randy suggested. Too terrible of a job to want to do it twice.
