Default Windows... info please.

Hey guys,

What is the best way to pull power window motors out of a 78? Do I need to remove the tracks as well? Is it easy(or necessary) to dismantle the door?

Any info helps!

Thanks,
Cory

You should be able to put 2 rubber tipped clamps on the glass in the up position, remove the 3 bolts holding the motor, wiggle motor out.

I failed to state that the windows are both in the DOWN position. Whats the best way to get them up?

This should help. If you need them up you will have to release them from the regulator.

Now it seams that I need the circuit breaker that controls the windows... not sure where to get one. The parts houses here dont have them.
