I'd stick with the original brown; it's one of the few distinctive colors of the rubber-bumper cars, and I think it goes very well with that body-style. It's one of the few colors that would make me buy a car of that era.

One of the most under rated colors, I love mine, and when I decide to repaint, I will paint it exactly the same color again, its such a cool color, sometimes it looks black sometimes brown, sometimes almost copper, Go the brownies.
