Probably the roll of velcro that holds it down. I had one of these and was not impressed.
If it rains hard or long enough it will 'seep' thru, you can run your fingers over the top inside and get wet. The velcro is always coming loose, even if you don't remove the top. Mine faded from black to almost white within a month.
I went back to my 2 piece astro top that came with my vette. Look up 2 piece astro top and understand the raincoat is worst.
You hook up that roof in four corners the same way as the T-tops.
Two holes in front, -two hooks in back.
You can buy better velcro in your local hardwarestore that will stay in place.
At least, it will keep you dry in a rainshower, if you don't want to drive around with your T-tops in the back.
I also think the car looks great with it.

Bought a barely used raincoat from a guy that had sold his car. Bought some velcro at Walmart. Cleaned the areas where I put it with rubbing alcohol before sticking it on. I used the raincoat the entire summer -- I drove the car every day it didn't rain. The velcro did not come loose at all and the top did not turn color.
I put it on anytime I parked the car and took it off for driving. Takes about a minute to put on or take off. When you take if off, it folds up and you just throw it behind the seats and go. I really like it.
It has velcro strips along the front and rear edges. There is a bolt at each front corner that goes through the holes near the visors, and there is a threaded plastic piece that screws on from inside. At each rear corner there is a hook that hooks around the posts that support the t-tops. Like someone else said, what you circled must be the roll of velcro tape.
i have a new one still in the original bag,did not notice it was 10 years old...sorry my bad
As an aside, if anyone has a Pre-owned “Raincoat” that they want to sell let me know via a “private message.” I tried watching the “psrts for sale” for a little while with no postings
Everytime I see these on a car I remember back to my 64 MGB roadster with tonneau cover "in case of rain" It even had a zipper so you could zip the passenger side closed and it used snaps to fasten to body. Yeah, but it still leaked.
