Tachometer Question
I have an 80 and the engine is not stock. I am not running an HEI but rather a Mallery high performance distributor and am fighting a non working tach. Circuit board has been changed, filter removed, power and ground checked. The needle zero's when key turned but remains there. Anyone know if I need any kind of tach converter when using a non HEI distributor? Thanks

The answer for anyone else...
Mallory Dist 3848201 for aftermarket tach. (the one I purchased)
Mallory Dist 3848501 for Corvette tach. (different signal)
Can be sent back to Mallory for conversion.
