Window regulator for '71
hey, guys! been a while since i've posted. i guess you could say the little one is keeping me busy... 8 months now, man how they grow! anyway, hope you're all doing well.
the driver's side window (automatic) on my '71 stopped working and the shop says i need a new regulator. i've had problems ordering parts online before so instead of just going to corvette america or some other big site i thought i'd ask here if anyone has a good link or reccomendation. i used to have a parts interchange manual but damned if i can find it. i wouldn't want to spend extra dough on a "corvette window regulator" if a "chevelle window regulator" would do the same thing. catch my drift? TIA!

no i haven't, but at the same time i don't really want to start undermining my mechanic and telling them their business. i haven't the time, nor the know how to start trying to repair the regulator myself... and i trust these guys. so, they say i need a new regulator, then i assumed i would just buy a new regulator. how much do you think we're talking about here? fleabay has 'em, it looks like:
