Little bulb

HI THERE ITS BEEN AWHILE SINCE IVE BEEN ON I JUST TOOK OFF MY CENTER CONSOLE TO REPLACE MY SHIFTER BOOT AND NOTICE A LITTLE BULB IN A SOCKET AND WIRE JUST SITTING ON FLOOR. IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT GOES ON CIG LIGHTER BUT COULD BE FOR MY HEAT/
AC TINY BULB WILL HAVE TO GET A NEW ONE TO TRY IT. ANY ANSWERS WILL BE OK JOHNNY75

Auto trans? shift indicator light or heater control illumination

It's probably for the heater control illumination.

This is what the ashtray light looks like.

Thanks it looks like it belongs on the ash tray lighter looked at my lighter and it has two groves along side of it,but also found a slot next to heat/ac unit that could fit in it. Thank you johnny75

Mine doesn't have AC but the light for my heater control doesn't look anything like the one for the ashtray.

Is there really a light for the heater controls? I thought there was a light for the ashtray only. I always wondered why the heat control panel wasn't illuminated at night. I'll need to take another look in there. My bulb must be blow.
