Anybody have any pics of where the canister and PCV hoses are suppose to be connected on a '74? The previous owner went Bubba on this one and now I'm not sure how to route the hoses for these two correctly.
When I bought my 73, it had the canister teed off the PCV valve as shown in the pic below. Not the best pic but you can see where the canister tee's into the PCV. 73 and 74 engines were virtually identical..I cannot swear for sure that is how yours came from the factory..but this is a solution that works very well and is factory correct for some year C3's, I just dont know exactly which.
Jordan - the larger hose tees to the PCV but it's no special valve - it's a short piece of hose on the regular PCV and a tee fitting above it. The smaller hose from the canister follows the larger to the PCV, but then continues on to a vacuum source on the front of the carb.
