any special tricks other than don't break the glass when removing the rear window out of a 74? It had been sealed with clear silicone along with the windoe sealant. I'm prepping the car for paint and was going to take out the window and reseal. Just cut away with a sharp knife correct and remove?

Just removed the rear window in my 74 coupe. I am also prepping for paint. I removed the inside frame and just cut around the window and gently push around the glass. Good luck!

xzylene from the paint section at a home depot will remove the adhesive from the gasket
