quick auto tranny detent wire question.
Just a quick question: The '69 auto transmission detent wire that travels from under the dash out to the tranny: where does it go through the bulkhead? It is not on the service manual wiring schematic, and it was just loose through one of the bulkhead holes. Does it get a special grommet, or does it go along with the tach cable?
Also, Anyone know where the windshield wiper door vacuum solenoid switch attaches to in the interior compartment? Mine was just screwed in to the side of the console. I know it can't be far from here, because of the wire length, but I would like to put it in its' correct place.

Check the AIM under the M40 option section. It will show the wire and the routing.
On the upper rear of the tachometer. AIM shows the installation.
