If it's under $1,000 bucks delivered to my door and I don't have to cut crossmembers or anything else on the car to install it, then I'll take two!!!!...
Sure looks like a stout piece. Well engineered. Guess we'll see what the initial release cost will be and what that buys. Curious to what ratios through the range will be available.
For guys with talents to fab any extra hw (driveshafts, brackets, mounts), they could buy trans only and make anything else, if needed.
I'd like to see if McLeod offers kits to select models and what is contained to make a smooth swap from OEM to their unit.
Of course, that will up the price over base transmission but isn't that what good, ole capitalism is all about? Choices between vendors to gain market share.

McLeod's site seems to be down, but here's some info I found...
M800 Ratios: 2.95 or 2.66 1st, 1.99 2nd, 1.34 3rd, 1.1 4th, & .63 5th. It'll have helical gears and synchros. Designed as a T10/Muncie bolt in replacement. ...but IMHO we'll have to wait and see about shifter fitments and such.
They say $2300.00 is what it will be but it has been delayed until late summer. Big discussion on it at protouring and chevelles. Opinions from some of the experts are mixed.
I'm glad to hear about the helical gears on the production models. Straight cut gears have their place, but not in a street driven car IMHO.
As for price, I guess that it is aimed at the Keisler kits, and even it's a little pricier, at least we know that it's designed to handle 800 torques. Few of us here will ever put out that much.
Freight to Australia will make it a killer for those here who'd like one.
