78 interior lights problem

78 interior lights problem
Ok, Got a 78 that the left door window, headlights, radio, instrument cluster (batt, gas,clock) all wok. Horn, interior lights, instrument, dome, speedometer and right window not working. Pluged some juice to the window motor and it goes up and down, ( relay for right window?) It has gotten out of my comfort zone of what to look so far. I have checked all fuses on the panel and they check ok. Looked at the fuses under the console and what I see it checked out ok. What next, what to look for. Any hint, help will be greatly appreciated. Was interested in upgrading the radio and the speakers so thought what a great time to fix the LITTLE dash problem It started slow and fun and now two weeks later I am still at a loss. I got the car in this condition and just now I have some to time to work on it before spring time.

If the speedometer itself is not working, that is not an electrical problem. It is controlled by a cable that runs to the transmission. The first thing I'd do for that is reach up under the dash and see if the cable it plugged into the back of the speedo. If it is, then unscrew it from the transmission end, chuck it up in a drill and run the drill backwards. If it works then you know the problem is in the speedo gears in teh transmission. If if doesn't work, you probably need a new cable.

Speedo works fine, just the lights do not as stated above. clock, on the dash including radio works. Dome, courtesy, dash, and right window do not work. (motor tested ok) I wonder if there is something I am missing and need to check. I am doing part by part. I needed to replace the light switch anyway. Like I said any input helps to get this thing fixed.
