Hi jtc44,
I dont think I would feel safe under the EZcarlift and would have to do a whole lot of research on the portage lift but the portage does look more safe to me.

I was thinking bout the ez lift also a few years ago. For some reason I just dont think I would feel safe under it also. I passed also. Good luck with your selection.

That Ez jack looks like a useful jack for changing wheels or
waxing the lower part of a car, but for that price I would
rather have a four post lift.

Hey if you are looking for better prices than the two sites
you posted here is one I was given buy some forum members.
http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/
They have a similar lift there for under 13 hundred, Although
its not as portable.

I'm hoping to buy a four post lift from these guys sometime,
not sure when, I have to figure out if I'm going to move or
stay where I'm at. To many decisions I have to make this
year.

EDIT,
WOW, sorry I most have gotten side tracked, that was pretty
dumb I guess. I posted the link above. Sorry guy's.

Hope this helps,
Riggs.

I have one of these and like it a lot. I did not get it from this site which cost me more money. I wish I would have found this company first.
