Thanks for the real info Gene and Jeff.
I am SLOWLY working thru a 75 with the intentions of using one of your 5spd conversions.
I have always noticed how quick to post and provide helpful info from you guys. Just like Wilcox.
Keep it up.
Good luck with the new ventures.
Bman

Now what happened to that troll CB1978?

Another from me for Keisler. They are an added value to this forum with fast and helpful answers to customers and non customer. Still I have to get the damn engine and tranny into the car ;-).

I sure can and good question. The bottom line is we will have to pay more for the product. We we`re already providing our own warranty so the service end will remain unchanged. Pricing will remain the same as well.

I am also a happy Keisler customer. I purchased my TKO in 06. I purchased it when I was at Carlisle. It took me all weekend to make up my mind, I kept going back to there tent and asking questions. They answered all my questions and were extremely helpful. I wasn't able to install the trans. until 09 because of illness and monetary problems. The warranty was off but they still helped me with a trans. mount problem. In the end they solved the problem by sending me a new trans. mount. When ever I had a question they were quick to respond. They are a great company to deal with.

My wife's 70 LT-1 has a Keisler TKO600 in it, with the big factory Holley, it knocks down around 20MPG at a 65MPH cruise. We don't have to beg the C5/6 Vettes in our car club to make more frequent fuel stops while touring amongst the sea of "belly button" Vettes (why "belly button" because everyone has one) Best mod ever for a C2/3 Vette in my book.

I have had mine in my 70 for a while now. It is coming up on 7 years for me. It is one of my favorite mods to the car. Like Solid LT1 said, you can cruise all day long with the C5/C6 crowd and stop for gas when they do. I have been very happy with mine and do recommend them when I am asked.

I bought my TKO500 about a year ago. I see a lot of talk about a 5 year warranty. Is that applicable to my purchase? If not is there a way to get it? BTW - great trans - great service! I have been very happy with the improved performance and better mileage.

Thanks for the kind words! The 5 year warranty program is brand new and applies to new Tremec sales from March 1st 2010 forward.
