Horn relay
Hi all:
I'm new to this site, just bought my first vette about 4 mos ago. I'm re-doing the entire interior piece by piece and was wondering if anyone can tell me where the horn relay is on a 1978 vette? It doesn't work now and figured the relay is a cheap try

I have a 79 amd the relay is on the left side of the steering column... If that is not the problem You might have to do what I did and take the steering wheel out and check the contacts,shims,retainer ect... Is complicated but You can get a diagram and give a try.. I did.. Good luck....

My horn worked about half the time or less and the horn itself was fine, so I thought it was the relay. I bought one and it still didn't work. Turns out my contacts on the horn ring were corroded. I cleaned them and now it works fine.
