convertable top release mech. part missing
I need a good picture of a 1972 with deck lid open showing the release lever for top. a piece is missing on my 72. the lever has no rod going to the release rotating part. thanks ahead.

I don't know if this pic gives you enough detail but it's the only one I have and the car (71) is under wraps for the winter...I do recall a thread that showed a closer view...unless someone else posts a better pic you might want to do a search.
Another thought...get yourself a copy of your car's AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual). It will show you the detail your lookiong for.
