Does anyone know if its possible to put C5 Z06 wheels on a C3. I was think there may be a way of doing it but I havent been able to find anyone that has done it.
you might have better luck on the tech forum. I have c5 wheels on my 79 but i have offset rear swing arms and I used 2 1/2 inch spacers, Vette brakes has them along with others and even E bay

Can this be done if you don't have the offset trailing arms? What options are available for those of us who have standard trailing arms?
I have seen 17x8 ZR-1 style wheels in the Corvette Central catalog that say they will fit 68-82 without spacers.
yup it can be done with a stock suspension....I used adapters and relocated rear ebrake bracket along with a new shortened fiberglass rear spring. I didn't fit them with the old spring on so i can't tell you if works with the stock length or not with 18x10.5 in the rear.
My TA's are stock other than moving the e-brake bracket to the top of the TA.
Also runing adapters

I really like the profile of your tires and the way they fill the fenders. What size are the wheels and tires. What size adapters? Did this make a difference in ground clearance? What speedometer gear changes were required?

I did alot of research before I was able to pick these used wheels and tires off craigslist (see My Corvette Photos). (most of us have budgets) There are a many different sizes of C5-C6 wheels out there and there are also different sizes of adapters. here is a website that has mostly C5 wheels with there sizes and there offsets. Also a web site with adapter sizes. I am not recommending these manufacturers but use them for information. I am not not recommending them ether. Also if you look through this sites photo albums you will find C5 wheels with different tire sizes on them. Mine are BF Goodrich G force tires 255/40 ZR17 Fronts, 295/35 ZR18 the rear are very wide but there are guys with wider. alot of guys use 275/35 or 40 which might work better with regular trailing arms
