Thank you for your interest in buying my car. Let me tell you a few words about the car. It's a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Targa,in perfect condition, with no need for additional repairs, no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever, never been involved in any accidents. The interior looks great (NO SMOKING). It has 96,000 miles. It has a clear title ready to be signed and notarized on your name. The price is not negotiable $4,400.00 USD is my last price.I sell the car at this price because I cannot enjoy it due to my job(I work as a dealer on a cruise ship) and I'm a single woman and I have nobody close who can use it. All documents, including owner's manual, clear title and a bill of sale on your name will be provided along with the car. Also about payment and shipping(which is free of charge for you) I will use only eBay vehicle protection program so we can both be protected.I am affiliated at eBay and I have a purchase protection account for $20.000

I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the car, to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions. So if you are interested please e-mail me back for more details about the transaction.
Thank you!

I had one of these kooks going back and forth for a few days. It was fun. Told them I put $7K into Western Union for them and she apparently went down to the WU office twice and couldn't find the money. LOL !!! Got some pissed off.......must have cost her bus fare. Told me she needed a phone number for me so E-Bay could call me......well, as you know E-Bay would never do that......so I gave them the local police department's phone number and never heard from them again. GOOGLE is great.........found out that my scammer was from North London in the UK.

You have to be carful with the Craigist and Kijiji listing. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Sent his dad to this site when I heard about it. Check out the "Trophy Room" section and make sure you don't have any food or drink in your mouth when you do.........it's a selection of pics that the "scambaiters" have asked the scammers to send them to prove that they are for real.

Some of Craigslist scam ads are not here to take your money per say, They just want a valid Email address, that is why alot of the ads only have email contact, they sell the list of good email addresses to companies whop send out spam.
That is why some emails you send never get a reply.... Just saying if it is too good to be true, than why bother even sending them an email...
He tried to talk the FBI into doing a 'sting operation' but he doubts they would do that for such a small amount ... $7000.
I had to leave before I added insult to injury...
I wonder how long after she sent that money it took her to realize she was scammed...

I usually reply by indicating, I have forwarded your email to the FBI, CIA, Homeland, and Intropol....
