Default t top ends

i have a 73 vette with glass tops . How do you change the ends on the rods to snug up the fit at the back ?
On one of the top, rod end only comes out about 1/2 an inch and the other top it seem like the rod end is stuck inside somewhere as the latch handle won't go down all the way. thx

The tips adjust by turning them in or out with a screw driver, but they tend to sieze with age so be careful with them. They will break if you lay on them.

Any 78-82 AIM shows the adjustment.

My original 78-82 ones had slots in them and came off reasonably easily with a screwdriver. The new ones I bought don't have a slot...

one of the latches won't go all the way down. and i don't see the end either. it's either fallen off or stuck inside somewhere ..
