can somebody help with carb number decode?

If you just want to decode the numbers, try http://www.oldengine.org/unfaq/leadfoot/qjet1.htm. It looks like it's a 1973, 454, automatic transmission carb from other information.

This is a correct carb for a 73 BB (454) with AUTO TRANS...Model # MV4

Thanks guys, it's on a numbers '73 454 automatic Vette, no AC, wasnt sure if carb was still original/correct. Thanks
