I see you had the side windows and engine compartment taped and papered off prior to the blasting. I would think the media would blast right through that and get into the interior and engine compartment - did you have any problems with this?

No problems. Blast job was done by an experienced guy who knows what he's doing. All corners and edges around the doors were taped off, so that prevented anything from getting inside.

Great job! Was this soda media? I want to try it but some say its risky to the gel coat. Any thoughts, suggestions? My 81 is completely gutted and off chassis with some fibreglas repairs required.
