Hand it over
Hey guys,I just bit the bullet.Today was the day I forked over the title and keys to my 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible to my car crazy daughter .I began building this car for my son after many years, 3 body shops, and $36,000 he decided he really did not like the car.So I was very pleased to find out one of my twin daughters loved the old cars and enjoyed going to carlisle and all other car shows.now I have a unique problem, one more daughter there goes my vette?

Sounds like your daughter has a very nice ride. 10 years from now your daughter will still have the Firebird and will still be proud of it. Now about that son............
I owned a 1967 Firebird convertible with the 400 engine back in 1970.
It had the 2 scoops on the hood and also had a built in tach on the hood
which came from the factory.
It was gold on gold. I loaned the car to a friend of mine for his prom and he wrecked the car. Luckily he was not hurt, but the car was totaled.
The car had a power top and power steering and that was it. No A/C and I was living in South Florida.
I had so much fun with that car. I was 18 years old and that was one of the BEST cars I ever owned.

She looks mighty proud to have that car. That's a picture you will cherish forever after all you put into the car. BTW, that is a great looking bird.
Now, the boy, well they always did say girls are smarter at that age. He may see the light yet. Someday sis is gonna come by in her sweet little Firebird and he'll take a look at his weed wacker with coffee can mufflers and it'll be like someone hit him in the head with a brick.

Agreed.... 15 years from now he'll be telling his friends how his father was going to give him a 67 Firebird and he turned it down....
The one that got away.

Bert,
My .02:
1. Checked out your profile pics. You are a very talented guy!
2. Perhaps we can meet up at Lowe's one Friday nite. I am local from Jarrettsville.
3. 67 Firebired looks terrific. I seem to have a weakness for Red cars.
4. Congrats to your daughter on receiving the $36k Firebird.
5. Gotta ask, what are you doing for wheels for the twin sister?
6. I see 2 weddings in your future! (My daughter gets married May of 2011.) Big $$.

Mags wheels or cool firebirds you do rock!
Seems like some old played out cliche for me to say it...but a young hot blonde and a hot red sports car, convertible no less....sounds like lots of fun is on the way...

If your son likes a Honda over that Firebird convertible you need to give him more than a paternity test. His IQ and male hormone levels also need to be checked. Beautiful car, your daughter is one smart gal.
