Heater question...
So, i posted tis thread a few months ago,
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...er-and-ac.html
and i was about to get started when i noticed in my assembly manual that there is some kind of vacuum operated valve on one of the two tubes going to the heater core!
Of course i dont have it in my car anymore and i am wondering if i need it to have a functional heater or if i can just forget about it and connect the heater core without the valve?
What is its function and is it important?
cheers
Sometimes too much of a heater which is the function of the valve to stop hot water flow through the heater. You can get a valve at auto parts. Some use a manual valve instead of the vac. control valve.
