Weatherstrip kit

I just asked a question and recieved a e-mail from Lonestar parts pertaining to where the weatherstrip kit is made...USA or not....they said this type of rubber cannot be manufactured in the USA.Its for a 1971 Coupe.Anybody else here of this?Dear smallblockmike,

Hi, this type of rubber can no longer be manufactured in North America.

I got mine from Willcox and its made in USA by Corvette Rubber Co., you can really see the difference compared to the import ones.

Go with the Corvette Rubber from Willcox.. you will be glad you did..

You can also go to Corvette Rubber direct, though Willcox may be cheaper.
I bought rear side window WS from Metro and the fit was terrible and returned them. Got a good deal in the parts section. You might post a WTB thread there.

Just placed my order with Willcox this past Friday. I've heard great things about their weatherstrip kit

i installed a weatherstrip kit from lonestar 2yrs ago, i am in the process of replacing all of it because it is falling apart / peeling. got new stuff from www.corvette-rubber.com. better quaility.
