Default 1968 Change Ammeter to Voltmeter

I'm changing the Ammeter to Voltmeter in my 68 after it stop working in the second time and it was 72+ gauge.
I sent to Corvette Clock by Roger a 77 Voltmeter to change the gauge face that it will look like 68 gauge (w/green letters).
I disassemble the center gauge cluster took out the old gauge and had to drill 2 holes for the new Voltmeter because it have 3 legs and 2 of them 90* rotate from the 2 legs of the Ammeter.
To operate the Voltmeter I will take +12 & ground (-) (after ignition switch) from the water tmp' plug, pink wire +12 black wire ground (-).

kapla74: Do you mean to the 4 bolts that hold the rear gray gauge cluster, they are bolted to the (pot) metal frame.

They go through the forward edge of the shift console. The nuts that go on them are ugly, nasty little buggers to wrench on!!

Neat! I did the same thing, but used a '75 rear cluster bucket/part. I just got them to rebuild the cluster and add an orange needle, wish I would have done the face in green.
