Seat Heaters

I tried to adjust the heaters on my big block, with Jet-Hot on the headers and pipes (back to the trans crossmember --stainless from there back). Inside I'm putting Dynamat, a layer of Dynaliner and the pre-cut heat barrier kit. The header adapter pipe is so close to the floor I may have to put some ceramic barrier sheets on the underside.

Since the 72's don't have any kind of shutoff for the water going to or from the heater I'll have to add a valve to that loop as well. What were they thinking? The interior is notoriously hot in the Corvette so we may as well save a few cents and have the engine coolant circulate through the heater and make it as hot as possible at all times? Hey, those Corvette people won't care!
