What happens to all the media and paint? Did it end up on your driveway and yard or did they take care of it while blasting or ?

Also what is the ballpark this runs ya?

The paint breaks up in little piece. you don't see any of the paint on the ground. the grass had a little tint of white. sweeped up what i could. then just hosed the driveway down with water. It had rain that night.next morning you couldn't tell...

I paid a guy to blasted it, $600 to do it. I had a trap over the engine, and inside the car. Still got dust over it.

don't know what brand of epoxy you plan to use, but spi does not recommend using their product on soda blasted vehicles.

If you wash it well afterwards it shouldn't make a difference, should it?

no idea. i used the razor blade and sandpaper technique on mine, so the caution didn't concern me. but it is in BOLD print in their manual.

You MUST use a pressure washer to rinse and scrub with a white brush and use simple green!! Pressure washer is the only way to remove the soda residue from the glass. A simple hose down with the hose isn't going to do it. Usually takes me an hour and a half of scrubbing and pressure washing. Dont do it in the sun and keep it wet untill you are done washing. Let sit in the sun for a good day to dry it out or use an air gun to blow dry.

Be sure the glass is completely DRY! Even after I blow it dry, i let sit in the sun for a day or put it in the booth and bake it (if it is cold out).
