Did you check the rear end for any damage? I remember you posting a question about the original bumper.

Well I officially joined the C3 family today. Closed the deal on a '74 coupe.Looked the car over real good. Seller was real good about letting me take my time. Took her for a drive, everything works!! except for the clock, big surprise. Engine is strong and the trans shifts smooth. Not a show winner but a good, solid starting point.
Seller had a good service history from his ownership. He had the original owners manual! I know the spoilers, and rear bumper cover are not stock. Rear seams have been filled. The work was done professionally and the frame has no signs of being hit and is in good condition.
First thing will be to fix the drivers side seat belt retractor for the lap portion of the belt. Other than that a good service, some elbow grease and she'll be a good driver.

Thank for the Welcoming. I will be picking her up tomorow, as we will be getting some good weather and mine and the sellers schedules have been hectic lately. I'll be sure to bring the camera along, because its gonna be the longest 30 mile drive I've made in a while.
