I haven't been on the board in about 3 years and haven't had the Corvette legal for the street in about 6 years. I am finally motivated to get the Corvette out of the garage this year lol. I wanted to stop by and see if anyone was still on here that I might know?
I think alot of old timers lurk, but just don't post much anymore. I find myself doing more of that. You see the same answers to the same questions, same drumbeat, etc...
A huge part of the hobby here on the CF is to mix it up with resto projects and performance upgrades, IMHO. Once that stops and your "finished", I think its a long straight road into the sunset.
People pursue their other hobbies too. Boating for me takes up more time in the summer than Vettes do.
Bence, I apologize for jumping in as a relative newbie compared to many of you on the forum but wanted to welcome you back. The forum members have been great to work with and have helped me tremendously. My 77 Red project has been a blessing with it turning out to have been a near complete change from its former self. Hope to hear from you again again welcome back.

I'm glad to see some of the old crew is still on here, as well as some new names! I'm also very pleased to finally end my hiatus from my Corvette. Time just seems to fly and it's hard to believe that I have been a member of this board for almost 10 years now....it feels like just yesterday I was a 17 year old posting on how to swap carburetors lol.
I'm still unmarried but just adopted my first child Sidney, my baby Rottweiler haha.

Welcome back. Seems like the last thing I remember you were putting a BB in yours. Did you ever get that all worked out? Several guys are now getting into the LS swaps like what I did with mine.
I don't know if you remember me but I remember you- and your Vette. Welcome back! I hope life is treating you well. Give us an update on your car when you get a chance.
Hey Shane welcome back, I have just started coming around again after a few year hiatus as well. I am once again having fun with the vette, probably put 20 miles on it the previous 2 years as I just didn't have the time nor inclination (parked it in the garage - no issues just waning interest).
