That color looks bad in pics, but it looks really good in person. Its almost identical to what they used on some of the mustang cobra's... Look up the "Mystic Cobra's" from 96 and up. Each year they did a few of them in that mystic color change paint.
Might want to take a look at a 95 Chevy S10 color called Radar Blue.
Add about 10% more metal flake and it will make a dramatic color shift from Purple to blue.

I'm not a fan of that paint either. Had a friend a fews years ago who had a Mustang painted with that stuff. It's ability to change color fades away in time and leaves a color similar to that of baby poop....after a pea soup Gerber's feast....
That paint is to the 2000's what candy metal flake was to the 70's, "cheesy"
That paint seemed to have came in a went very quickly around here,
Then only cars you see run it around here now are the pimp wagons,
I have seen a few look okay but the ones that have that baby poop color in the fade are just gross,
And like candy apple metal flake forget any kind of touch ups
