Default power brakes

got some great advise about installing power brakes on my 71 corvette.
Job complete.
Quick question as I don’t have a comparison on how PB should feel on a 71 only newer cars.
I have bleed the brakes to death but the pedal feels soft almost like if I pushed hard enough it would almost go to the floor.
The car stops on a dime and the brakes are totally locked at the point where the pedal feels soft, but I guess I am used to a hard pedal stop. Is this normal or is there something I missed. Again car stops but the pedal never has that hard stop feel to it.

I changed my 68 from manual to power brakes and I get the same soft feel on the pedal. Same thing, it stops on a dime and will give 9 cents change. Try pressing the brake pedal a couple of times with the engine off. When I do that the pedal gets hard, then start the engine with your foot on the brake pedal. My pedal drops a little and gets soft again. My car has been like that for 2 years and I've never had a problem. I think this is normal.
