Another whats it worth?
I'll be brief I found a 68 427/390 original motor,heads,intake,trans and rear. The carb I belive is not it is a QJ but has the fuel inlet coming straight out of the front of carb I could not find #. All body work has benn done and in primer,looked pretty good. New top but top frame needs to be redone. Complete interior needs done,dash seats carpet door panels etc. Frame looked good.Some pics. I do not have any of the body I forgot to put my memory card in my camera and these were all I could get. Like I said though the body work is all done and looks good. No bumpers though, new top is installed
I'm just looking for a ballpark to throw at him. My guess would be no more than 8 or 9k. Is that close. He's asking 18k but up for offers,IMHO
he'll never come close to that.

18k for a BB original motor 4 speed vert is not out of the question, but this one looks like it needs a good deal of money invested in it. 8 or 9k would be a deal, but I have a feeling he won't bite on that. Best bet is to reasrch what it will cost for the new parts you need.(including paint) Make sure you look at prices for 68 parts also....some tend to be a bit more than 69 and later. That way when he says "This car will be worth 40k when it's done" you can start deducting all the costs.If the body has had all the work done,and done properly, and the frame is good, he is not real far off what he might get for it. IMO
