I drive with the tops off and the pipes loud. Originally had air but most parts were missing so I went ahead without it. less weight, I also removed the condenser/evaporator coil that was in front of the radiator and that helped a lot with forcing more air directly into radiator and helping the engine run cooler.

That looks like a nice neighborhood. I bet the neighbors love it when a side pipe Vette comes down the street to break the silence! You gotta love a black 79, not that I'm biased or anything!
