Default The mirror holes

Yes, everybody says. your mirrors are upside down? I know, but after 33 years with the other short mirrors, if the new ones are turned correctly they look to tall for me.

The holes? no the holes do not line up, no matter what black base i have tried it was off. had to make one new hole. Didn't mind that but had to plug the other hole that was showing, looks like a bubba job. When i put the sport mirrors on had to modify the drives side for the remote adjustment, a real pain!.

After 33 years on the paint job it might be time to repaint, fill in the holes and fix some other body items

I must be sleeping, I had the mirrors upstairs and could have easily answered your question yesterday, here's a picture of the two bases. The stud distance is almost wider than the base of the original.

If you're using your side view mirrors to see over the fender hump you have them adjusted incorrectly.

Adjust the driver's side OSRV mirror such that when a car passing you on the left leaves your ISRV mirror it enters your side view mirror and as it leaves your side view mirror it enters your peripheral vision. Thus, no blind spots. Use the ISRV mirror to see behind you.

08vycpe does have a good point about the hump, now I'm doing half a hump and the rest for the next lane.

Think I will experiment some
