rear brake question
I hear a squeaking noise from the rear when driving 15-20 mph, thought it was old rubber bushings, but when I apply light pressure on brakes it goes away. So tomorrow back wheel comes off to check brakes, what should I be looking for?

Do your pads have a wear sensor clip on the outer pad? This is how they react when worn. Squeek until brakes applied. Could also be pads themselves. Since the caliper pistons apply slight pressure at all times due to the spring behind the pistons this can cause noise. Some have suggested to file a slight taper on side of pad edge. mds...
