To all experienced corvette owners,
Well, just as some predicted,we have a problem that can be
. The hood, which we've attempted before, has risen up noticably (pictures below) after we installed the new hood bracket (also, picture below). It looks as if one could simply screw it down, but it won't budge. please help.

Thanks for the help. Fletcher and I had to use a punch and put the latch in a vice to get it to loosen up. We got it off ebay and we sandblasted it and hence the sand underneath had it locked up. Just an FYI, the main problem was that the hood release was adjusted to tight and was in the way when the hood would come down. All soved now
