What did you guys use for the oil temp sending unit location?
Does anyone make a sending unit that combines temp & pressure?

I used the port right above the oil filter location for the temp sender.

for those of you that slid an autometer 5 inch tach and speedo in the dash, what did you do for turn signal indicators?

You can put led's in the shim for the guages themselves. Even for the emergency brake and the high beam indicator as well depending on the year of the vette. Those small led's are available at most autoparts stores. The shim surrounds the guage and has approximately 3/4 inch of material so there is plenty of room.

Do a search for autometer on the forum and you will turn up lots of threads. Most of them show what they did for the lights. Heres mine:

Thanks Gordonm and Yellow 72. Either of those locations should have enough flow that they give an accurate reading.
Personally I like the black faced gauges best, can someone post a pic of them lit in the dark? Curious as to how well they light up at night.
