Default Outside mirror help

Does anyone have an idea about where this mirror may have come from? Currently on my 75 coupe but I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else and am really curious.

Thanks,
Bryan

If I remember right, they were made by Cal Custom. They were available in the 70s from speed shops, Pep Boys, etc., and came chromed or in black that could be painted body color. My 71 El Camino has a set of them on it.

I kind of figured something like that. I was kind of hoping
though that they were from another car. I like the look.

Both sides are the same. They are pitting pretty bad and the
ball they pivot on is worn down. The mirrors won't stay
once the car moves.

It has nothing to do with the pivot being worn down, they wouldn't hold there position when they were new. How do I know this, as I said in my previous post, "My 71 El Camino has a set of them on it". I installed them around 72 or 73, they wouldn't hold their position when new and haven't for the last 26 or 27 years!
