Ive been doing alot of work on the 1980 and test driving every once and awhile last time i took it out i noticed when you hit the brakes, the steering wheel turns to the right. The harder you hit the brakes the harder the wheel turns. when you let off the brakes, the wheel goes back straight. something to worry about? thanks, tj
One of your front calipers is grabbing more than the other. If your calipers are original they probably need to be replaced. O-ring calipers are better for cars that sit a lot.
If your pulling to the right, it will be your right caliper that is grabbing, the left one is not working.
Your driver's side front brake caliper is leaking. Theres probably brake fluid on the inside of the tire. Just replace both front calipers and you're good to go.
ive just replaced all four calipers and the four rubber hoses, and mine still pulls to the left,,also all new pads. drives straight untill you apply extra brake pressure,,go figure..
i suppose its possible that the rubber gasket covering the master cllinder could have a small tear or pin hole in it. take it off and look for fluid on the back side of the gasket, where it should be dry,if its wet replace it,and rebleed the brakes.

I would take a close look at your right side calipers and think about doing a little more bleeding. A tiny air bubble in the right rear caliper (the hardest one to get completely clear of air) could cause what you are describing.
thanks guys, ill do that. just havent had the time.ive been busy with my son going to calif.to persue a writing career, and locate a job in the biz,,,,tom

Switch the pads from side to side and see if it pulls the other way if so brake pads. if not check your runout on your rotors. Mine use to track right in the grooves, on the highway till I had the front end done tie rod & Front end align . made all the diff stops straight but I hate it ,still Squeals like A pig . Im liiking for new pads this season.
