Try to post the link again- its not working for me. As for the trans, Im pretty sure the 4L80E is still a 4 speed auto. I think the 6 speed is called something like 6L80E... I havent seen anyone put one of these new 6 speeds into a C3, mostly because it is so big. It will probably require some tunnel modifications to fit.

Considering a 480LE is basically a TH400 with an overdrive it will fit, probably with some finessing.

I looked into the six speed auto for a customer's car. It's got a taller 1st gear and shorter 6th gear than the 1st/4th in the 4L60-e/700-R4. That means your acceleration off the line won't be as good, and your highway RPM will be higher with the 6 speed(not to mention the extra weight).
