You know the guy I bought it from. He's from your neck of the woods. I know I said no green but after looking at a 71 Brands Hatch Green and this one, I decided I like green.

Congratulations on your sale. Hopefully you will find yourself back in a vette someday.

I just spent the week in Austin visiting some semiconductor customers of ours. Love eating at Rudys BBQ on Cap of Texas Hwy. Was almost struck by lightning, which hit by the trees just 20-30 feet from the covered outdoor seating area there on Wed nights storm. I felt the shock of the boom!! Scares the sheet of out ya.

I just realized you have a non AC car in Austin. That takes alot of *****

As a fellow Corvette connoisseur, what would you recommend for Vette site seeing activities in Austin? I seem to end up there a few times a year.

No ac is no problem as long as I don't need to arrive at my destination clean and dry. Roll down the windows, pop the tops and keep a towel handy. No problem.

My favorite BBQ in Austin is County Line and The Salt Lick in that order.

Not sure what you mean by Vette site seeing activities. If you mean nice drives I like 2222 West out to Lake Travis. Almost any small town in the Hill Country West of Austin can be a fun drive.

The 72 was well taken care of by the previous owner. No restoration but one repaint that I know of 12 or 15 years ago. It's not perfect but it does show nice and runs good.

Nice car! What's better than looking? Listening to that sweet solid lifter motor purrrrrr
I still miss my old 72 LT-1 with a/c. I did save the exhaust note.
