Thanks to all for the approval ratings. Yes, the car has already been to Hardees about two weeks ago. Put it in the Corvette show at Heritage last weekend and did pretty good. We have also registered for the show at Zip in June. Hope to see some of the forum members at that gathering.
Thanks again,
Norm
Clean, amazing, beautiful!. Very impressive. I'm also curious about the shifter.

This is the second comment on shifter so maybe I should try and describe what was done on this go round. Started with a Hurst slap shifter for drag racing and built the console around it. Mouting plate is stainless steel covered with Alsa carbon fiber pattern sheeting. Boot and indicator strip came with shifter. Shift pattern was set up with an led light underneath to indicate what gear was selected. I like the plain and simple approach. Anyone familiar with this shifter will tell you it is great for street and strip. You basically have two different shift gates just by pushing it down to a lower notch. Hope this will answer a couple questions and thanks for all the kind words. At my age (64) this will be my last "BIG" project.
