last bolt curse
Put new seat belts in my wife's 74 this weekend, driver side went perfect no problems at all, the passenger side good till last bolt. The head of the bottom anchor bolt was completely rusted and the bolt will not turn. Had to cut the head off the bolt to get the seat belt out but the rest of the bolt is still in the car soaking in penetrating oil. Not sure what I'm going to do if the rest of the bolt won't come out, not sure if I can mount that bottom anchor anywhere else under the seat safely? At least the driver side is done right now so she can drive it till I figure something out if it doesn't come out in the morning. Not necessarily a question but any ideas or suggestions on how to get this bolt out would be appreciated, thanks.
