Anyone do their own display board ?
Have heard of using a computer program to make it up and then having the finish product "blown up to size" maybe 20"X30" at Office dept or Staples...
What program did you use ? and does it loose detail when increased in size ?...
As you can tell .. im not much of a computer wizard.

Progs like Adobe Illustrator are probably the best but pricey and a long learning curve.

They have an online prog for designing many things and you can add pics etc.
Best prices I found and they are fast and reliable.

I think you have to start with clear, hi-resolution photos or else when they blow up to 20 x 30 they don't look as sharp as they could be.

As long as the pics are from a good camera and you have a little skill and imagination you can just make them up on photoshop. Here is my first attempt, and staples printed and laminated it for me for 25 bucks, 18x24"

with Jim. Looks great Dave. But after seeing that paint job in person this past weekend, the poster doesn't do it justice. I could still be standing there staring into that high metallic paint job drooling.

I did mine on PowerPoint. Did (3) designs within about (2) hours. Took to one of the chain print shops. The were running a special, printed on poster foam board for $23 in one day. The equivalent if I had it done by one of the guys at the shows would have been about $250.
