I ordered replacement pedal covers and they came in today for my gas, brake, and clutch. I never noticed before, but my clutch pedal is about 1/2 inch more narrow than the brake pedal.
The covers that I ordered fit loose on the clutch pedal and will not work although the retailers list the same part number for both the clutch and brake pedal.
My clutch pedal looks to be about the same size as a standard parking brake pedal.
For those of you with 4 speeds, are your clutch and brake pedals also different sizes from each other??? Should I order out a parking brake cover for my clutch pedal??
Further research is showing the 80-82 clutch pedal to be smaller than the 68-79 clutch pedal, but my 79 is an early model. Would a early 79 have a 80 pedal????
Is the 80 clutch pedal the same size as a standard parking brake pedal in other GM cars?
