Ive been lurking on this board for a few months now, so I figure its time I come out in the open and say hello.
My name is Dave, and for the past 13 years Ive owned, raced, broken, fixed, raced and played with a 67 Chevelle (prior to that I had other various fun cars and done the same with them).
I got engaged in the end of 2008, and prior to my marriage in May of 2010, I decided to replace my Chevelle with a C3 Corvette.
Through various forms of internet research (including usage of this board) I picked up a 73k mile 1974 LS4/M21 car back in April. I also promptly blew the snot out of the clutch the first night I had registered the car.
Anyway, now that I have had the experience of changing the clutch and doing other various forms of "fun" work on this "very difficult to work on car", I wanted to introduce my self to some of the guys and girls here [whom had previously posted searchable information] that made my job that much easier.
Welcome fo the forum Big Block Dave
There are many helpful people here, willing to run out and take a picture of their car whenever you have a question about yours.
So, rule #1 is we need to see pictures of your car. Did anybody else mention that yet?

Welcome to the forum Dave. This is a great forum, there are a lot of members here, that have a lot of knowledge and will help you with your questions. As you can tell from the above posts we like pics.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys....For some reason I get the feeling you want to see some pictures, so by using the link above, I'll make an attempt. These pictures are from the first day I bought her..so the rear spring is super saggy. Enjoy!
Yes, I know the '62 nose emblems dont belong on my fenders, but in person, I swear they look cool. Also the Nova and the Monte arent mine!
