Default 69 project almost done

It's been a long time since I posted any update for my 69. This car started out as my rat rod. I liked it that way for a few years then I ran out of projects. So apart she came. I did what I would call a quicky frame off. Everything on this old girl was just worn out. There was just no way I could see not doing the chassis.

The motor was built for this car when I first bought it so that was not touched except the intake. I thought the Camaro style crossram would be a cool thing for a Vette. I made the Motion style hood and it clears the crossram just right. Now you can't have a Motion hood without the Motion style stripes. I have a few things to do yet but she is running and going to the alinement shop I use this week. Then we can get down to tuning.

That crossram is just too cool on a Vette! Looking good!!

Got to feel good to be that close to done- I've been at my 69 since 1971- and still not close. It's become a living breathing project. I get one thing done and see 3 more. get those done and think of something else.......

I'm just now finding that out, myself. Funny thing is: I expected such to occur.

Beautiful ride, aworks!
