Default 3883948 block question.

What type of an engine could this be? It's a big block.
What is it worth?

The owner says that it was in a boat since 1974 and ran for only less than 100 hours, but it was in a boat and is painted blue

Yeah or Neah?

The block has been decked at least once so any 'proof' that it was a Corvette engine is long gone.

I just need the block. but $1500 may be a bit too much for a two bolt main block.
