Default '75 T-Tops

Hey,

Should the t-tops for this model have gaps wide enough to run your thumb through? (This is when you're sitting inside and looking up at the roof)

As soon as my camera is fixed I'll try and get some pictures up.

I'm sorry if the question's pretty funny...I'm not the best at describing many things.

Through what?
If you can stick a finger through to the outside, you've got a bad problem.

Body line gaps???

Not unless you have small hands.

Maybe 3/8 inch max?

The tops are adjustable.

No, no, I can't stick a finger all the way to the outside...they're gaps...and I DON'T have small hands!

I plan on consulting a few manuals from the library...I just wanted fellow Vette head opinions first. And like I said, I'll try and get some pictures up asap.

Possibly not the best pic for illustration purposes, but these tops fit well. Gap is even front to back and about 3/8" to 1/2". Trailing edges are flush with the halo panel.

69 shown. 75 would fit the same.

We're going to have to see pics of this.
Has the car been in a wreck?

Not that I know of. I don't know how the previous owner treated it as far as driving is concerned. And yeah, I promise to get some pics on here as soon as my camera is off the fritz.

Mike: the exterior is fine, it's the interior that I'm concerned about. The driver's side top appears to be on completely, while the passenger side top has a gap, thumb-width separating the center latch from the area where it's supposed to be inserted to.

Are you sure it's in the right position?
